Marshan Goodwin-Moultry Counseling

About Me

Many of our current problematic behaviors, thoughts and worldviews, have their root in past relationships ,or experiences that were emotionally, or psychologically damaging. In our work together, I'll help you to explore and overcome some of these emotional and psychological blocks. My passion is to hold the complexities of each person; to identify contributing factors and to provide the best treatment to help them to become their best selves.
For the past 18 years, I have journeyed with individuals, couples and families through conflict in social services.  With a Master's degree from Seattle University, LMFTA and CDPT credentials; I have merged and honed my skills as a Individual, Couples and Family Therapist.

I have  significant experience treating
individuals and couples that have been impacted by sexual, physical , and verbal/psychological traumas. I specialize in treating men that struggle with pornography, sex, drug and alcohol addictions.

I  have considerable experience in providing counseling for children, adolescents and teenagers.  In my previous role as an In-Home Family  therapist, I provided parenting skills and coaching, performed Parent/Child assessments, engaged inTrauma-Informed Therapy and Play Therapy, family reconciliation services and pre/post adoption Family Therapy.  I am particularly skilled in working with  parents that have adopted children of different ethnicities.  If you would like to know more, email/call me to set up and appointment.  Learn more about my counseling approach by clicking the tab PHILOSOPHY OF COUNSELING.
